Arven
We were selected by Ocean Winds and Mainstream Renewable Power to create branding, a new website, and comprehensive brand guidelines for a major offshore wind farm development – called Arven – in the North Sea, east of Shetland, which will come on stream in the early 2030s.
Arven is the Norwegian word for heritage or legacy, and was chosen to represent Shetland’s Norse heritage and the legacy which the partners plan to create. The brand and typography that we developed continue this theme and the colour palette was chosen to reflect the colours associated with the marine environment and associated infrastructure.
