Sorry, not this way!
13 years. Yikes!
Business development and project management (digital and print projects).
I like a bit of everything, it’s the variety I like.
Favourite projects include: a brand development project, which might include the creation of a new identity, involving focus groups, to the design and production of the marketing materials, and the build of the website.
Difficult one…’The Fixer’, ‘The Schmoozer’…depends on which hat I’m wearing that day!
Apart from Jimmy Stewart, Steve McQueen, Audrey Hepburn…I’d actually much rather meet both sets of my grandparents again, all of whom are no longer here; introduce them to Norman and Lauren, and have my folks there too.
A big Sunday roast like we used to!
I’d want to know where they’ve been, what it’s like, any tips for ‘the future’! And
I’d also ask them all the questions I should have asked them when they were alive.
I had my daughter, Lauren, at 42 – I was considered a ‘geriatric mother’ – harsh!
I took a career break (from VisitScotland) in my 30s and travelled to South America (via a few other places).
I sang in a band at the age of 19 (student days). We thought we were Deacon Blue! Our biggest gig was in Norway, and we were played on Norwegian radio.
I was an au-pair in France, and always thought I’d live in France, but the folks did that instead.
I used to write for a local magazine, before Lauren came along – The Leither. The food reviews were the best, lots of free, yummy meals. I also interviewed some interesting people including the politician Margo McDonald, not long before she died.
