| Shaw Sponsors Marketing Society Star Award for Public Sector |

For the third year in succession, Shaw has sponsored one of the key categories at the Marketing Society’s annual Star Awards, now well established as a central initiative in the vision of building a world-class marketing community in Scotland. This year, we have sponsored the Public Sector award, and four marketing projects – focusing on knife crime, fire prevention, organ donations, and smart phones for smart kids - have been shortlisted. The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony at Glasgow’s Old Fruitmarket on 19 May, and they will receive their trophy from our managing director, Alastair Bruce. Alastair was also one of the judges for this year’s competition, officiating in two of the other categories in the list of awards. Shaw’s sponsorship is delivered as a sponsorship-in-kind deal, and we will again be artworking the programme for the awards evening.
