Shaw's Shetland office moves to Harbour House |
|
Following a period of expansion, our Shetland office has moved from the Gutters’ Hut at the North Ness in Lerwick to bigger premises at Harbour House on the Esplanade.
Over its twelve years, the company in Shetland has grown from an office of one to five people delivering a wide range of services, including branding, graphic and digital design, web development, social media, strategic marketing consultancy, public relations and print management.
Deputy managing director, Isabel Johnson, said: “We are absolutely delighted to have found a new home at Harbour House. It is a perfect match for our needs and marks the next stage in the journey for Shaw in Shetland.
“As always, we are very grateful for the support of our clients, many of whom we have built lasting relationships with over the years. In addition to our core business in Shetland, the office has a growing portfolio of work in Orkney, Aberdeen, Caithness, Inverness and the Western Isles. With such a broad spread of clients, we are very pleased to be bringing business back into Shetland and contributing to the wider economy.” |

Shetland lamb at Stockbridge Market |

We have been setting out our stall and selling Shetland lamb at Edinburgh’s Stockbridge Market. Kirsty and Isabel wanted to gain a better insight into buying trends and people’s opinion of native Shetland Lamb (on behalf of our client, Shetland Livestock Marketing Group). We have been delighted by people’s reaction to the product and have sold out on both occasions. Native Shetland Lamb has many unique selling points, all of which appealed to our shoppers, not least the taste! Our regular customers already have our next market day of 18th December pencilled in their diaries. To find out more about Stockbridge Market visit www.stockbridgemarket.com

Grieg Seafood Hjaltland UK Ltd has, for the second year in a row, won the best retail product award - Fish and Seafood - for its WildWaters Smoked, Marinated and Fresh Scottish Salmon range at the 2011 Scotland Food & Drink Excellence Awards. The awards, which recognise the best of Scotland’s food and drink industry, were revealed at a ceremony hosted by BBC Radio 2 food expert, Nigel Barden, on 26 May. Managing director of Grieg Seafood Hjaltland, Michael Stark, said: “We are delighted to have won such a prestigious award. It is a great credit to our team and rewards all the hard work that has gone into not only developing the range and establishing its initial success, but also the ongoing work that retains standards and helps the business grow. We have been able to build a quality product portfolio and level of service that our customers – in 13 countries across Europe, the Far East, the US and Canada - truly value.” We have been working with Grieg’s since the start of this project, devising the name and branding for the range and then designing all the packaging and associated marketing materials.
